NEW TeleWeb Virtual Seminar - Dermal Stress Management.
LIVE on January 31, 2005 from 2:00-4:30 p.m. ET
Arranged by Jennifer Sahmel, and Presented By Chris Packham and Helen Packham.
For complete course information and pricing, go to
www.aiha.org/UpcomingTeleWebs.html

Designed to provide a practical approach to the prevention of damage to healthy
skin resulting from workplace exposure, this new TeleWeb will cover:
- Identification of hazards
- Risk assessment
- Practical risk management
- Monitoring
- New techniques to measure skin condition

Participants gain an understanding of how the skin interacts with the working
environment and what is needed to develop a system to prevent workplace dermal
exposure damage, learn techniques for dermal exposure risk assessment and
management, as well as explore developments in skin health surveillance that can
aid in determining the effectiveness of control measures.

Chris Packham is a founding partner of EnviroDerm Services. Concerned with the
development of technical solutions to prevent dermal exposure, Mr. Packham
co-developed (with Helen Packham) the unique concept of 'dermatological
engineering,' the combining of dermatological knowledge with engineering
techniques to produce a dermally safe workplace. Mr. Packham is a Fellow of the
Royal Society for the Promotion of Health, a member of the European Society of
Contact Dermatitis, the International Institute of Risk and Safety Management,
the British Occupational Hygiene Society, and is involved with AIHA's Dermal
Exposure Assessment subcommittee.

Helen Packham also a partner in EnviroDerm Services, is a biologist with a
special interest in the science of "skin bioengineering." She holds regular
courses on skin health surveillance for occupational health practitioners and
runs regular courses on occupational skin management, dermal exposure risk
assessment and risk management. Mrs. Packham is a member of the Royal Society
for the Promotion of Health and the European Society of Contact Dermatitis.
