Hi Steve,

I just wanted to update you as to where we are with the Distance Learning
International Giveaways.  Currently we have received 4 requests, 2 that I
received on site, and 2 that were e-mailed in the first week we were back
from conference.  Since then, we have not seen any requests, so  I was
wondering if you wanted to post a reminder on the IAC listserv and see if
anyone else (who was not in attendance at your AIHce meeting) was interested
in the courses. 

I've listed the current information on the courses that are available below.

The following courses are available, at no cost, to international OEHS
professionals:

Applied Ergonomics (PAL) - 3 Copies left

Calculation Methods for Industrial Hygiene- 11 Copies left

Integrating Industrial Hygiene into the Business Process (PAL) - 4 Copies
left

Implementing Risk Communication: Overcoming the Barriers Video (PAL) - 12

Quantitative Risk Communication: Explaining the Data Video (PAL) - 11 Copies
left

Risk = Hazard + Outrage: A Formula for Effective Risk Communication Video
(PAL) - 8 Copies left

NOTE: PAL Videos will ONLY play on European VCRs that are formatted to play
PAL tapes.

Courses are valued between $199 and $295.

All course materials are in English. These courses CANNOT be completed for
credit. Students will not be issued certificates of completion. These
courses are strictly for informational purposes.  All courses will be sent
via US Mail, unless a Fed Ex or UPS shipping number is provided.  AIHA
cannot be responsible for delays in shipping or the tracking of materials
sent via US Mail.

Individuals interested in receiving any of the courses listed below should
contact both Stacey Talbot and Carol Lynch via e-mail (Stalbot@... and
Clynch@...) with the following information by September 1, 2004:

- Receiver's Name
- Address (must be international address)
- Phone
- Fax
- E-mail
- Course title & quantity.
- Shipping information.  (US Mail, UPS, or Fed Ex)

Upon receiving an e-mail request the Distance Learning Program will notify
you if the course is still available and when it will ship. Requests will be
filled on a first come first served basis.  Requests made after September 1,
2004 will not be honored.
