The British Occupational Hygiene Society Conference
Occupational Hygiene 2004
will take place on 20 - 22 April 2004 at the Moat House Hotel,
Stratford-Upon-Avon, Warwickshire, England. This is the main annual
European conference on control of health risks in the
workplace.
The closing date for submission of papers is 31st October 2003.
The programme will include plenary
sessions, parallel technical sessions and a mixture of workshops, case
studies and professional development sessions to help you meet today's
need for continuing professional development and to keep you up-to- date
on emerging issues.
The conference welcomes papers on any aspect of occupational hygiene and
occupational health. Some ideas are listed below:
. Risk assessment of exposure to substances in the workplace .
Developments in exposure modelling
. Strategies for controlling risks from exposure to chemicals .
Biological agents - assessment and control . Physical agents
. Psycho-social factors in the workplace
. New developments in analytical and measurement techniques
. Agriculture, Construction, Health Care and other high risk industries
. Occupational health performance indicators and occupational illness
reporting
. Trends in exposure and occupational diseases . International
harmonisation and standardisation
Proposals to host a themed session comprising four 20-minute technical
papers are also welcomed.
