Hi everyone,

notified of upcoming NC OSHERC NORA Interdisciplinary Seminars.

The next NC OSHERC NORA Interdisciplinary Seminar (webcast) is Wednesday,
August 22, 2007 from 2:00pm EDT to 3:30pm EDT . The seminar will be live
from the BCBS Foundation Auditorium (Room 0001) in the Michael Hooker
Research Center, School of Public Health, in Chapel Hill, NC. Max Lum, EdD,
MPA, Director, Office of Health Communication and Global Support at the
National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) in Washington,
DC will present, "Utilizing a Social Marketing Framework for Moving
Occupational Safety and Health Research to Practice...4 Questions that Even
a Caveman Should Ask." The seminar can be viewed via webcast. However, if
you are unable to attend the seminar on August 22, an archive link will be
available a few days after August 22 so you can view at your convenience.

Log in as a guest. Type in your first and last name and click the "Enter"
button. The OSHERC meeting space will open. There will be an interactive
question and answer session after the presentation. Slides and an
evaluation form are attached.

An application for continuing education credit (1.5 contact hours or 0.15
CEU) has been submtited to the University of North Carolina. Once approved,
if you would like to receive this credit, you must:
1. complete a hard copy of the CEU Registration form,
2. include check for $4.00 payable to *NC OSHERC,
*3. complete an evaluation form, and
4. return to Susan Randolph no later than _*August 31, 2007*_.

For more information or to be mailed a registration form, contact Susan
Randolph using the information below. If you email me your _*preferred
mailing address*_, I will put a registration form in the mail to you. The
evaluation form can be emailed, faxed, or put in the mail after you view the
seminar.
