year is a "green school." It has all natural lighting except for 2 interior
rooms in the middle of the building. There are lights, but not florescent. I
am not sure what kind of lights they are, but in the library they even had to
get extra special lights of some sort bc a librarian there had lupus and was
sensitive to the lights they had. The floors are concrete stained brown and the
walls are tan. Daniel seems very calm there. He can't wait to go this fall.
On the last day of elementary school he kept saying, "No more Springhill
Elementary." They have floors, walls, and lights like Wal-Mart: bright and
glossy. I am excited to see if he will have any improvement with focus and
behavior just because of the building.

That school sounds wonderful. I am in college and there is so much fluorescent
light, and the walls and floor are a glossy white. I hate it. I wear Irlen
lenses and use overlays and still have problems.
