hey thanks for the website. i looked at it and watched the video. i showed my
mom and told her what i liked about it. she asked me to see how much it cost and
she said it was too expencive. if we can find a program that has just of what i
like about that program and not the extra stuff she might buy it.
i like the read aloud parts and how it has a box around the words or high lights
the words while you read it. i like how it does that for word prosseser and
internet but i dont really need the maginfigation part of it.
if you can think of another program simular thats not so expensive please let me
know. its too bad zoom text isnt cheeper.

I heard you express some interest in a program that reads aloud to you; that
version will do that.

myself im just geting enough education so i can run my own business.

really cool. does it adjust the background color too or just enough to cover the
words? the reason i ask is ive spent time adjusting my computer screen. the
background being black and the text being gray.

is actually being quite helpful. Have you ever tried a computer assisted
reading software? I love reading that way, it highlights the words in any color
you want as it reads out loud. The voices are very realistic. If I'm reading
on my own I am lucky to be able to read 100 words per minute. But with the
computer assisted reading with the audio turned on I can "read" at 250 words per
minute. It is a great improvement.

for me to read. i used to describe the words as "they were moving around the
page" but nobody understood what i ment by they are moving. i was just told that
i need to learn a better way of explaining things or that i was a dyslexic. i
later found out more spesificly theres halos around the letters and light
reflecting off the page makes it look like they are moving. i usually have to
fallow the page with my fingeres and or use a gray overlay

difficult to meet people. My Irlen syndrome is also considered severe. When I
went for my screening I scored a 17. If I'm not mistaken, 20 is the highest. You
said your lenses are dark; mine are medium, but I think I might have to get the
dark ones the next time I go back to my diagnostician. Unfortunately, I cannot
avoid having to be under fluorescent lights. When the semester is over at the
end of April, I will go back for a tint check. At the end of January I noticed
my symptoms starting to come back. Soon after that, I started having to use my
overlays again. I'm starting to loose my place a lot, and words disappear but I
don't realize it; this has started to cause me to make some careless mistakes on
my homework.

class room without get a migrain within 20 minutes. so i get my education by
studying at home through independent study. i dont like going outside much and
most groups to meet new people are in places with bright florecennt lights. ive
met with mrs. irlen personaly and she told me that i am one of the most severe
shes every seen and she told me to never be in a places with forenent lights for
more than 10 minutes even with my dark filterd lences. so it makes it really
hard to meet people.

How does having Irlen syndrome make it difficult to have friends?
