Other than outdoor activities, I think most events are under fluorescent lights.
However, I volunteer for a group in Orange County and I know that they'd be
welcoming! Some of our events are outside in natural light (shaded) and others
are unfortunately more indoors (like Pet Expo). It's called Orange County Cavy
Haven and if you're also into guinea pigs, I'd recommend checking it out at
www.cavyhaven.org

I'm currently their only volunteer with Irlen syndrome, but we used to have
another one (who is the one who told me what was probably wrong with me when she
saw me struggling to read at an event, so thank goodness for her!).

I'm technically not in Orange County, but I am very close by.
