I understand better now. I can see how that could make it difficult to meet
people. My Irlen syndrome is also considered severe. When I went for my
screening I scored a 17. If I'm not mistaken, 20 is the highest. You said your
lenses are dark; mine are medium, but I think I might have to get the dark ones
the next time I go back to my diagnostician. Unfortunately, I cannot avoid
having to be under fluorescent lights. When the semester is over at the end of
April, I will go back for a tint check. At the end of January I noticed my
symptoms starting to come back. Soon after that, I started having to use my
overlays again. I'm starting to loose my place a lot, and words disappear but I
don't realize it; this has started to cause me to make some careless mistakes on
my homework.
