Hi Val,
That website looks interesting. I am currently wearing highly
wrapped oakley lenses. If you see there website they do loads of
types of lenses, with anti glare properties, lens coatings to stop
them misting up (this can be a problem with very close fitting
lenses, as I have found). I find them better than my Irlens for
every day use as they're better for glare and full coverage. However
they're too dark for in doors so I use day light bulbs in the house,
2 anti glare screens on the computer, with the contrast and
brightness turned down and the colour set to be more blue.
As for Irlens lenses I know they do "space" filters, which are good
for glare. Apparently space lenses were invented by NASA to help
astronoughts with the glare in space! I know these can be added to
your other filters as I went down that route.
Addidas also do "space filters" on there "Elevation clima cool
glasses" which you could see on this website:
http://www.gosportsspex.co.uk/AdidasElevationClimaCool.asp
They're good for cutting peripheral light out as they have foam
round the edges, but some of the oakleys are just as good for glare
and cutting peripheral light and are better for not misting up as
theyve got anti mist coating (one type has ventilation holes. I
looked at www.oakley.com for all the pictures and details of glasses
and details of my nearest store with a good range so I could try
them on. You don't know for sure untill you've tried them on, both
indoors and out.
