Hi everyone,
Janet wore her glasses today to the park for a walk and to the
neurosurgery appointment in Cleveland. I don't see a drastic
improvement, but like I mentioned on a previous post, she has
significantly decreased her eye swiping behavior on her own.
I am of the opinion that I will use these instead of her other darker
sunglasses as long as they seem to be helping her in outdoor
situations. I have her wear them to indoor activities too..the
library, grocery, hospital and they haven't hindered her ability to
see where she's going or what she's doing. They are a wrap style and
the lense combination is very similar to a lightly shaded sunglass
color...maybe a medium grey, it's hard to descibe.
She's having alot of trouble with her seizure meds and her new shunt
gave us a scare over the weekend too. I'm feeling very nervous and
stressful lately. This always happens to me when we go for months at
a time with major medical issues with her. Anyway , we are on spring
break here now and I think the last snow storm is behind us, so there
is good news after all!
Terri
PS...my 2 year old used the potty yesterday!!!!! Her 11 year old
sister thinks she's now potty trained! If it were only that easy!
