Peripheral vision

Your peripheral vision plays a greater role than most people are
aware of. Besides alerting you of changes to your environment to the
sides of our vision, peripheral vision also plays a part in your
depth perception. Glare, UV and IR are present in peripheral light,
so it is important to protect your eyes from peripheral glare. Wrap
around glasses filter this light, and allow your eyes to see it,
enhancing your visual experience. Cat-Eye style eyewear blocks out
this light with the frame, protecting your eyes, but reducing your
viewing angle and depth perception. Small framed fashion glasses are
the worst choice as they leave your peripheral unprotected.
