I am sorry that your daughter has been demoralized, simply because she
suffers from light sensitivity, and her brain strains under certain
light conditions. As I remember, anyone who is certified to give the
screening is qualified to do the testing, but I am not a screener so I
can't say this is absolute.
I am not up on the UK stuff for schools, so I am not sure about who
should fund for the testing. Here in California it's the parents
responsibility to pay for the testing. Sometimes...someone foots the
bill, but this is not a standard...
