Glad to find this group! At the age of 55, I've recently been
diagnosed with a severe case of Irlen. I'm blessed in that it has had
no ill effect on my reading & writing. It really gets me in the
spatial stuff, though I've driven since I was 18. I guess when you
don't know how things are supposed to look, you just adjust. I got my
overlay on Ap. 18 & it has already had such a powerful impact, just
using is for reading!! I'm looking forward to my lenses!
Interestingly, they are the exact same color of my contact lenses that
I wore back in the 60's-70's. That was a time when I was at my
healthest on all levels. Wonder if they were a contributing factor?
