Hi my name is Debbie ,my nine year old twin son and I were both tested
last year and were found to have the Irlen syndrome .I was so happy not
for myself but for my son now maybe he would not have to go through the
same things I went through when I was his age.My son just got blue
tinted lenses from our eye doctor about 2 months ago ,we got tired of
waited for the lady who does the colored filters to come to are
city ,so I asked my eye doctor and she said she would work with us and
see what she could do ,and she also said that I would not have to pay
near as much as the other lenses were going for . The blue lenses have
worked so wonderful ,his reading has improved so much he still has some
cathching up to do but if you would have heard him read 3 months ago
and the way he reads today with his lenses it is like night and
day.Hopeful in the near future I will also get my lenses but for now I
am just happy to see my son doing so well.
