Hello Ruth,
You've done really well to find out the source of zoes' difficulties.
Sometimes it seems ridiculous to me that I never worked out what
was going on for me untill I was 25. I thought everyone saw the same
way but were able to cope with it better. The simple truth is, we
see the world through our own eyes and why would we question that
other people see it differently?
When crossing roads I've always looked both ways then ran for it.
It's only just occured to me that the reason other people don't do
this is because they understand how fast the car is and how far the
car is from them. I'm glad one way or another you and zoe have found
a way to communicate about these differences in perceptions and that
you can support zoe.
Best Wishes,
Tim
