Hello all,
I was just reading about the software that changes the colour of the
screen. I'll check that out. I use textic toolbar (www.textic.com)
at the moment, which you have to pay something to get, which changes
the colour of the background, lettering, font size and font style
when I'm on the internet and you can pay a bit extra to get it
working for 'microsoft word' too. They do free 30 day trials. I'll
check this free one out to see if it covers different programs to
textic.
I bought an anti glare screen to put over my computer screen. I've
been surprised how much it has helped. I can be on the computer much
more now.
Other things that help me generally is using daylight bulbs,
redecorating the house in colours that suit my eyes, using anti
glare filter film on windows and experimenting with different
glasses in different weather conditions (both Irlen and other types
of sunglasses.)I've tried on dozens of frames, and the only frames
I've found which lets no light creep in above or below are a pair of
sporty Adidas ones that have foam around the edges.
