Re: [Glimmer 'Colored Filter Glasses'] Re: Photophobia-Please help if anyone else is having similar problems

Sarah-
I have not been having any numbness or tingling as you have mentioned.Mine has
mostly been Dry Eye, Photo Phobia and Chronic Migraines and my test results have
all come back negative. I see a Rheumatologist ( for the first time) tomorrow
the 25th. I will see what he comes up with, if anythin,
Thank you-
Christina

Sarah,
I have problems like you describe - numbness, tingling, prickling
sensations besides other neuro symptoms.
I was going to elaborate, but my baby just woke up, so it will have to
wait. Anyhow, went to a neurologist
as a referral 9 years ago, and he "agreed" with my internist - that is
was "all in my head". Never should have
gone to his referral, but to one on my own. He was biased before he even
looked at me! I did consult another
internist who sent me for an MRI - negative. After 9 years of all my
symptoms, I've certainly learned to live with them,
but they are no fun, especially when they flare up. It's like MS, but
apparently isn't, as it has not progressed, and as I said, the MRI was
negative. I will write more about my symptoms at another time. Busy mom
of 7 here, and it's tough to do more than just read through. Been a
member of this group for some months, but have never been able to write!
Hope I can get back again.

~Kim
