Hi Chris,

Welcome. I am sorry to hear you have focal onset epilepsy since you
were 3 months old. Do your doctors know what causes it? I don't suffer
from epilepsy but from a seizure disorder brought on from Post
Concussion Syndrome from Whiplash brain injury. Before I got my Helen
Irlen glasses bright colors, and lights use to make me suffer from
light induced seizures. My symptoms have calmed down, in part, from
the years of wearing my color filter glasses from Helen Irlen, but I
am not out of the woods yet. I am still disabled but I enjoy my being
able to be more involved in my life. I am still affected from fast
moving objects, patterns, bright colors, and lights to a lesser extent
now, before it was extreme. I don't take any medications for now,
still wear my color filter glasses but I do take supplements, and I am
on a food allergy diet that has proven to be very useful in
controlling my seizure disorder....
