I see it's been said over and over again, here, but I'm going to say
it, again! I'M SO GLAD TO HAVE FOUND THIS SITE AND ALL OF YOU:)!

Just this weekend I discovered "Reading by the Colors" at Barnes and
Noble. It's made a HUGE difference for our 9 year old daughter, my
husband and me:)! Maddie (previously a ravenous reader) began to
struggle this past school year, third grade. NOW IT'S ALL SO CLEAR TO
US:)! And, just this little information from the book that I was able
to share with Maddie has made a world of difference in her self esteem:!)

We've ordered the overlays and are anxiously awaiting their arrival.
Now, here's the question...does anyone know of a
screener/diagnostician in the Wisconsin area? We're in Milwaukee. If
I need to, we'll go to Chicago (TOMORROW!:) to get the help we need.
But, if there is someone closer, all the better. I checked the Irlen
Institute website and emailed the contact person for the state.
Unfortunately, the message was returned as "undeliverable." I've
since emailed the Institute directly and am awaiting their response.

So, if anyone has any ideas, we'd so appreciate it! I look forward to
becoming part of your community...if you'll have us:)
