Post Traumatic Flbromyalgia & Irlen Syndrome   Message List
Reply | Forward Message #263 of 816 |

I was finally diagnosed suffering from Post Traumatic Flbromyalgia
that is different from regular flbromyalgia. This only occurs from
blunt force trauma. When the incompetent chiropractor hurt my neck he
set it off again. I am seeing a neurologist who will investigate the
origin - nerves in my neck or if it's the brain itself. I will be
taking test for these. One thing that hit my heart-of-heart is I now
understand what happens to me when my brain wave slows down. I can
feel it (I described it as levels of consciousness lowering). I can't
see clearly due to light sensitivity (Irlen Syndrome), migraines,
process things, and concentrate…

That is when I have medical problems. Treat the Post Traumatic
Flbromyalgia and it all works out better for me, and my system settles
back down faster. I am amazed that when I only had Irlen Syndrome
glasses that they helped me with my seizure disorders…! It was only
when my neck was re-injured that my world fell "apart" again "The
injury happened from the auto accident of 91 (severe chronic
whiplash). I still use the Irlen Glasses but not like before.
Something is different now, but they still help.

I came back from Iowa with a cold that turned into a lung infection. I
got better two days ago to be able to travel to Arizona for a seminar.
Whew. I will be gone from the 4th to the 8th. In the meantime…feel
free to post.
