No, wire is just like that. I did have to get used to the new depth perception
though. Going down stairs was tricky at first. Logically I had always known
stairs go down, but I had never perceived it before. Also, driving, I could see
that the road was actually lower than the hood of my truck. I couldn't get over
the rolling hills and undulation of the landscape either. I found it really
hard waiting for my glasses after having had a taste of what I was missing all
these years. I wanted to take the big lenses home, even if I had to hold them
to my eyes for a month! I hope your cousin will follow through and get glasses.
It makes such a difference!

Did you not see the wire because of a new depth perception or was it just an
accident? I should get them this week. It is great that they are able to get
them to people sooner now than in the past. Since I have "seen" for a few
minutes I am increasingly anxious about what I now know. Today my cousin was
tested and she was diagnosed as severe so I am also very happy for her.
