A few of those with ADHD (not all) occasionally find that the right
ADHD medicine (~ a stimulant/alerting agent) can temporarily improve
some aspects of their ability to understand and read print:
newspapers, books, etc.
The reading improvement is only temporary and fades away when the
medicine clears the body.
