Hi Carol,

Before I got the Helen Irlen Glasses I use to use wrap around
sunglasses you could also place over your glasses (Seniors wear them
who suffer from glaucoma) they were great!

I figured on wearing them as I suffered from light induced seizures
for years. After seeing several doctors question my mental state for
wearing this magenta color wrap around glasses. I did the mistake and
gave these doctors my faith and not to my system...I threw them away
as I thought it was psychological. I got worse but did not make the
connection until I was tested by Helen Irlen. After getting my
glasses my light induced seizures were remarkably under control. What
these glasses did that the others one did not was to also calm down
my motor sensory to be able to walk better and get off of the walker,
make the bed square and be more involved cognitively in my life.

I went on a search to look for these type of glasses. The problem I
ran into was that they were already processed. I did this search
about a year ago (more or less) and could not find them anywhere
where they were not treated in anyway. My search stopped. If anyone
finds them untreated don't forget to post this news for us to use in
helping us from leaks from our color filter glasses.

Right now I just use shading the sides of my eyes if when I am having
trouble or the block the source of the light like direct sun in my
direction of vision with hats or visors etc. That is all I have
figured out to do.
