Hi,

My name is Sherry, I am new to this group. I am wondering if anyone
experiences severe heartburn while eating? I do not have
the "classic 2-3" hours after you eat heartburn, what happens is as I
swallow, sometimes the food gets stuck and I have to stand straight
up and drink water, most of the time it goes down, sometimes I have
to throw it up. Other times, it goes down but feels like it is a bed
of hot coals as it goes down. The pain is so severe I actually am
brought to tears. I can not find any information about these
symptoms only about the "classic 2-3 hours later" symptoms.

I do take quite a few meds for rheumatoid arthritis, sjogrens syndrom
and HRT. I am two years post endometrial cancer and fear cancer of
the esophogus.

Does anyone have any ideas? I would sure appreicate your comments.
