I see your point on the carbs, know carbs aren't that great for you
anyway with losing weight, but I thought the toast would "soak" up
acid in my stomach like a sponge. At this point I am looking for
foods that will coat my stomach or not irritate it thinking I must
have hurt my stomach in some way and it needs to heal. I have had
GERD for 4 years so I am used to the reflux part and have cut back on
mexican type foods that would give me heartburn but I ate a sausage
pizza three weeks ago and it could have been a coincedence but I had
a terrible time that night and ever since have had stomach pain and
heartburn with any food I ate. Could just be timing and this was
going to happen anyway but I don't understand how someone can go from
basically eating normal one day to baby food the next. I have taken
your suggestion on cutting carbs though and I appreciate the idea.
