It was reported on WABC-TV Eyewitness News that there is a major
problem with the storage tanks of anhydrous ammonia of upstate New
York farms are being raided by theives for use in downstate
methamphetamine drug labs.
It was also noted that, if you are 5 miles downwind of an anhydrous
ammonia leak left by theives, then it can be fatal for you!
Toxic fumes from drug lab activity can surround the exterior of a
building. I know. When I was in building 2 of 7 contaminated building, I
had a window fan in operation in intake or exhaust mode. I came to the
conclusion that I was bringing in more contamination than I was airing
out.

friend tho living in HUD housing in an apartment complex with other low
income elders & disabled people. She reports that many of them are on
drugs of one kind or another.

Also mold is in many old buildings making thing worse. Mold is horribly
toxic.
Mold and mildew go hand in hand with drug lab operations. The toxic
waste that is dumped down drains breaches the drain pipes in the walls
of the building. Leaking moisture then creates a fertile breeding
environment for mold and mildew.
