From what I've discovered there is a lot of information available
for people to assess the comparisons between gentle wind and other
groups. In my opinion, it's up to each individual to check out some
of this information and make a judgment, over time.
One book that is partially free for downloading is "Releasing the
Bonds." Chapter 2 lists the signs to look for when one is trying to
decide about a group or religion.
