This Forum is offered by ex-followers (former "instrument keepers") of the Gentle Wind Project/GWP to former and present followers and anyone interested in learning more about GWP. The purpose of the Forum is to discuss personal experiences and raise public awareness about GWP and its affiliates.

Experiences of former members are also available at: http://www.windofchanges.org along with many reports and resources.

When this Forum began, GWP had recently sued former followers in an attempt to shut down links and websites critical of the GWP leaders' activities. In Nov 06, after continuous efforts to silence these ex-members, and others, with 2˝ years of lawsuits in federal and state courts, GWP’s leaders John "Tubby" Miller, Mary "Moe" Miller, et al requested a Settlement Agreement stipulating that they would relinquish attempts to interfere with these former members' freedom of speech.

This settlement is a landmark victory for free speech on the Internet and a warning for other high-control groups, sometimes called "cults," that file harassment suits against former members.

Following the end of these lawsuits, we continue to encourage discussion here (please apply for membership if interested); however, even without active discussion, we intend to keep this Forum online as an archive source about GWP.

NOTE: This is not a Forum to discuss the merits of GWP or to debate personal agendas. Rather, this Forum has been dedicated to educating the public and acting as an investigative resource. In Aug 06, following a lawsuit against GWP by Maine’s Attorney General citing false claims and fraud, GWP's directors signed a Consent Decree that ended their business in Maine and removed all assets to be disbursed to people who had purchased "healing instruments." Attorney General Steven Rowe said,"This is a just resolution to the violations of law committed by the defendants. This charity damaged the public trust and should not be allowed to continue."
