This group is a database for moms wanting to expose their children to other children with Chicken Pox, in order for their child to contract Chicken Pox and attain natural lifelong immunity. Those who should join are parents who are willing to share their information with other members should their children contract Chicken pox and to organize "parties" with the children so they can be exposed. This is a Georgia based group for parents with unvaccinated (against Chicken Pox or all diseases) children. This group is intended for healthy children. Everyone should be aware that chickenpox has a better than 99.99% recovery rate and usually provides lifelong immunity. Complications are very rare, but every parent should consider them before making the decision to expose their children. This group could also be helpful for Measles and Mumps.

According to the CDC, there are approximately 4 million cases a year, between 5000 to 9000 hospitalizations and 100 deaths from complications. There are also risks to having the chicken pox vaccine, as with all vaccines. Please research all options before making your decision.
