A temporary reference list has been posted to the FAP website
(www.faptherapy.com). I have more to add to the list and am working
on it. :) If anyone has more references to add, please send them to
me!
As for the FIAT and FAPRS... I can give you a basic answer. The FIAT
is the Functional Idoigraphic Assessment Template. It's an interview
designed to help build a case conceptualization and determine CRBS.
The FAPRS is the FAP Rating Scale. It's a rating system designed to
code a therapy session turn by turn based on the FAP model. For
example, a therapist's response can be coded as a Response to a
CRB1. We're learning now at UWM and will be coding tapes and then
using lag-sequential analysis (I don't have a great way to explain
the use of the lag-sequential).
This sounds like information that might be well placed on the FAP
Research page of the website. Those researching FAP should let me
know if they'd like to write about what they're doing for the website.
Thanks!
