Hi everyone,
I thought I would post this to the list and ask anyone at all who is
interested in contributing to do so. We're trying to come up with a
questionnaire to administer over the course of FAP that would measure
the kinds of client changes that are important to FAP having to do with
genuineness, vulnerability and improved intimate relating and so forth.
My students looked at some existing scales and we picked some items
from them, and then came up with a bunch more items, to generate this
initial list that I've attached of approximately 100 items.
If anyone is interested, I thought you might want to just take a look
and provide feedback on good items, changes to items, new items,
suggestions for wording, ideas for which types of items make more sense,
really any feedback whatsoever. The more the merrier. The end result
will be a set of probably around 50 items that will make up the initial
scale.
Only thing is if you are interested in taking a look I need your
feedback by Tuesday of next week because we need to come up with a final
list to submit to the IRB by that time. We will simultaneously pilot
test the initial set of items in both a normal undergraduate sample and
in a clinical sample (mostly depressed) next semester.
