Just touching bases with you all to say we are still here and if you
wish to post please do so. This is moderated but we try to get to
items very quickly.

Frontline is thinking of moving to OR in the early winter sometime
so do not be surprised if we seem either closer or farther away from
you all.

We are out of the HepC pins until we get another order done and have
the coinfection (HCV/HIV) ones for a rock bottom price of $2 each in
lots of 5 so let us know if you want any of these nice enamal pins.
We post daily on the other Yahoo list if you are interested in info
on a daily basis for A B and C and coinfection issues and support
articles.

The URL is: frontline-hepatitis-awareness-subscribe@yahoogroups.com
This is how you subscribe to the list.

Thanks and hope you all are well. There are some disturbing
articles by some advocats saying that folks should not be tested
unless they have at least fibrosis.........the whole reason we all
urge early testing is so that it can be quelled as soon as possible
so we do not agree with that theory at all. The other thing is that
some are making (they are in the doctors and company pockets
obviously) and presenting articles or made up editorial saying that
there is no need for liver biopsies. We all know that this is the
gold standard for seeing the shape our livers are in and is the only
good and totally true way of making a baseline which is accurate.
There is a new sort of lab technique coming out soon whichis called
fibrosure.........this may be the lead up to the release of this new
way of testing. I have read recently that there are dopplar ultra
sounds which are Very good although a baseline biopsy is still the
best thing as we see it anyway. For cirrhosis the doppler MAY be ok
but when in such late stages who wants to be still yet another guini
pig at the cost of our lives and health? Not me.
'
So that is my piece of yakity yak for now.

As I am not a Buddhist nun anymore I an not using Ane as it was a
title and not a name, thus I use my birth name and nickname which is
Tara or S. Balduf

confused yet? I sure am.
