I wanted to send out a big hello to all of you within this wonderful group!  Hillary has invited me to join and I'm honored to be here.  As a four (4) year survivor (June '08), I'm proud to mentor and build friendships with many women who are recommended to me through family and friends, as well as through the internet.  I'm currently working on a book about "virtual support" and the women who connect searching for support over the web.  My "girls" are a constant reminder about what is important in this lifetime and the power of sharing through kindness and friendship.

 

I believe in this foundation and how it will grow, not only within your community, but into others outside of the area.  Hillary, Jeff and Michael have endeavored to provide a place for shelter and healing far from the medical world and many of it's frightening elements.   I look forward to meeting some of you at the next meeting on March 13th and would be delighted to help share in many areas with Hillary and all of you to make "Friends for Life" as successful as it deserves to be.
