Thank you so much Andrea! In the meantime, I also met with Dr. Karen
Barbosa from St. Catherine of Siena Medical Center in Smithtown. She
has attended our meetings and, after getting to know her, I can see
how passionate she is about caring for her patients. I would call
her a real patient advocate! She is also very warm with her bedside
manner and she was trained at Sloan and Cleveland Clinic. She was
brought in to St. Catherines to start a new and all inclusive Breast
Program. I have also hear of Dr. Scalfani so I will check him out
too.It's a good idea to check into a few doctors to see what
personality also fits (and expertise). I appreciate the suggestions!
