Wendie-  This is Rose I agree with you 100%. I had stage 2 cancer with one positive node. I had the same treatment you had. I also shaved my head the very first sign. I thought I had control of my hair not the chemo. My doctor also said a positive attitude is very important.   I couldn't agree more on that subject. No matter how sick I was I always said I am ok, but you know how I really feel. I would never give in to the chemo. My hair was my trade mark. I had long thick beautiful hair. People always made beautiful remarks about my hair. But, in the long run it is how you feel that is more important. I now have short hair and it is very easy to take care. I look younger. All of this happened two years ago. I am now 56 and people cannot believe my age.
