Jane, Yes 40 mg is a lot....BUT DO NOT STOP TAKING IT ON YOUR OWN... THERE ARE SERIOUS PROBLEMS WHICH CAN HAPPEN IF YOU DO.... THAT IS WHY YOU HAVE TO BE...
