My nightmare started in August with migraines. I had 4 migraines in 8
weeks. Let me tell you first, that I am a 42 year old mother and
wife. I am overweight but have no complications due to the weight. I
have always been a healthy person other than my weight and allergies.

My GP sent me to an ENT thinking that my migraines may be a
consequence of a sinus infection. He had given me zithromax. The ENT
saw me one time, did an endoscope and put me on 750mg of Levaquin for
10 days. 5 sample pac's and a prescription for the other 5. He said
out of the hundreds of prescriptions he had written for it, not one
reaction until recently.

The leaflet, from the pharmacist, did NOT include the blackbox
warning, but it did have several side effects listed and I needed to
hear from a live person that this was going to be okay. The
pharmacist assured me that it was fine. His words were, "If two
people go out into the street and one gets hit by a car and dies,
they have to list it". He said that this was no different than the
zithromax I had taken weeks ago.

Now I can't sleep at night from the pain in my shoulders. My knees
hurt very badly and my elbows are on fire.

I have seen a Rhuemotologist. My blood work all came back clean
except for the Sed rate which was slightly elevated. The ENT
recommended PT and OT.

I don't know where to go to from here. How do I find a doctor to
manage this? I haven't been able to find a post online of any
treatment that helps. The results from the CT the ENT ordered are
back. They have asked me to schedule an appointment to get the
results. This is the same doctor that gave me the Levaquin. I would
rather not use this doctor again. But what doctor is going to pick up
from here and treat me?
