OK Shells ...... Its 6:15 am Memorial Day morning , NE
Oklahoma ,thunder , pouring down rain , still dark , kinda foggy . I
run out to shut the top vents on my cargo trailer where I house my
bikes , and I slip and fall on my 10 ft. wood ramp I built . I fall
instantly on my ankle and here a distinctive SNAP !! just like tree
branch .
So one minute I"m comfortably lying in bed , the next minute I"m
crawling up the ramp in the rain cussing with my leg snapped .
I go to the ER and it appears my TENDONS let go first which in turn
broke the fibia (the smaller outside leg bone) Sound familar ?? Do I
blame quins ?? You bet I do !!
I told my family just a few months ago that I had exhibited almost
every ADR T.Boomers listed except a pulled tendon ; now I have that
too , and then some .
Oh well , now I"m a floxed gimp , what else can you do to me ?? My 1
year is here and I still feel alot better than last year , I'll make
it somehow .....
PS - Shells , I get my walking cast tommorrow , I think I'll get it
in black (my first cast was camo) - signed Peg Leg Eric
