Scientology: Against the Disabled

Scientology takes advantage of disabled people to further the goals
of the organization:

"Pending charges against more than 100 of its overseas church
members include fraud, extortion, capital flight, coercion,
illegally practicing medicine and taking advantage of mentally
incapacitated people... "As long as the organization's opponents and
victims are successfully squelched, Scientology's managers and
lawyers will keep pocketing millions of dollars by helping it
achieve its ends."
--Richard Behar, "Scientology: Cult of Greed and Power," Time,
5/6/91 16

Scientology's mode of operation includes the exploitation of the
disabled. See: Scientology Swindles Raul Lopez
http://www.raullopez.org/

Michael Schiavo stole (with the blessings of the Pinellas County
Court) hundreds of thousands of dollars of Terri's rehabilitation
money to pay for attorneys to carry out her alleged death wishes
based on nothing more than the testimony of her estranged "husband"
and his relatives.

Terri's legal right to be rehabilitated has been illegally
disregarded by Judge Greer. Theft of Terri's money to the tune of
hundreds of thousands of dollars is the exploitation of a disabled
person, and is a felony under Florida statues.

Judge Greer "authorized" Michael Schiavo to commit a felony.
Interestingly, ex-Scientologists who were high in the organization
claim that committing felonies is a matter of "church" policy:

According to sworn testimonies from seemingly countless upper-level
management Scientologists who have escaped the business,
the "church" commits felonies as a matter of policy. So much so that
several countries have designated Scientology a threat to their
national security and monitor the "church" like they do any other
crime syndicate. You may view many such testimonies at Operation
Clambake. http://www.xenu.net/
