Michael Schiavo made it clear that he considered
Terri to be dead on February 25, 1990--the day he said he discovered
her face down on the floor. (In another deposition he said he found her
on her back). So the therapy Terri received for approximately two years was
done while Michael considered her to be already dead.

Maybe the fact that Michael considered Terri to be already dead was the
reason he refused to allow her to have medical follow up after she endured
experiemental brain surgery--without the court's permission of course.
