Dear Larry,
Thank you again. Please take your time. You will learn as you go and
everyone will be patient - if they aren't then they simply should not
be here.
I know that it takes a great deal of thought and patience to be a
moderator. It also takes commitment. And it takes the willingness to
have the vision and then to cultivate and caretake the interactions of
the group. With a group of Aspies and Auties this can be very trying
- we can sometimes be like a hive of bees where some of us get out of
control, stinging anything within sight until the meltdown or roll of
pontificating stops.
Most of us don't have the time or patience to do what you are doing.
I very much appreciate it and I hope others who come here will too.
My brother does not touch type, nor is he a big reader, but he wants
to look over my shoulder, so as to speak, and make comments that I can
relay - it is his way of interacting - so if that is okay then that is
how we will handle his being part of this group. (At 53 he has A.S.,
ADD, ADHD and Non-verbal Learning Disorder, very abused and
misunderstood at school, he now lives on seventy acres with 23 dogs,
bordering 3000 acres of protected wilderness. He likes to keep
informed and to interact - but in his own way.)
Thanks again,
Zarin
