Well, it turns out that autism, as well as myriad
other physical, neurological, and emotional problems,
can be caused by bad mothering after all. In fact, bad
mothering can change one's genetic makeup and even the
structure of the hippocampus.

This, of course, is not to suggest that most cases of
autism are caused by bad mothering, but we had better
quit burying our heads. There are too many NPD mothers
who come across all sugary sweet protesting how much
they LOVE their dear little autistic kids.
