Hi, I guess there isnt anyway out. Once you are allergic to food, you
just have to avoid it. As your child grows bigger, they might grow out
of the allergy. The steroids creams will help temporary but in the long
run of applying, the skin will thin down and would be even more
sensitive. You need to limit the application. Do not use soap products.
I am using the Dr Bronner's magic soap and it seems to help. I keep my
skin moisturise too but these are only measures to reduce the dryness.
It would not cure the skin problem. You need to know which food that he
is the most allergic to and avoid it. As for those that is not too
severe, you can try to cut down on its intake. I have skin problems as
well and I am avoiding wheat products, milk, soybean milk, eggs and I
wear only cotton shirts or t-shirts. I hope your child would be better
when he grows up.
