As far as I know, all of your medical files should be available to you. Whenever I get tests, I ask the testers to send a report to me and to my doctor. That way I get all the details of the test, as much as the doctor gets, and I can call the doctor to explain that which needs to be explained. Being in the dark in a matters like this is terrible.
