RE: [foodallergyrx] Severe Sensitivities

After taking the alcat test and a regular allergy test for foods also, I am currently only eating 25 foods (and that’s up from 19).  I couldn’t handle rotating – I would only have 5 or 6 foods to eat each day . . . I’m already starved for variety and flavor.  I am feeling much better tho – my hayfever symptoms are better, and my stomach is way better, and quitting gluten stopped my headaches and depression too

I need to find a naturopath . . .

By the way, do most of you try to avoid the mild foods for the
first three months, or do you just eat them in a rotation diet
and try to only eat a couple of foods from that list each day and
not in combination with each other. I still not sure about
ablind of this and have not had time to talk with my naturopath
since receiving the results.

Thanks, Tammie. Do you have a lot of items on your mild list? If so, do you try to limit how many of those foods you eat in any given day? It will be...

Wow, Cara! Whe there that many foods that you were sensitive noo, or was it that you just found rotating to be overwhelming? I'm encouraged to hear that your...

Cara, have you tried some of the other grains that alcat doesn't test for like quinoa and amaranth? I've wondered how I will do with some of the things I...

They shouldn't agree, they are different kinds of reactions. The allergy test is for IgE reactions, which is usually an immediate reaction. The alcat is IgA...
