What do you look for as far as allergies? We see green crusty noses,
runny noses and loose stools. On milk, it was raw heinies and soy was
vommiting. I have heard some children can tolerate goat's milk? Have
you tried goat's milk? How about Kefir? And Coconut milk? What
antifungal is good to treat arabinos?
This makes no sense whatsoever? Our one twin that is worse than the
other according to the Organic Acids is doing much better than the
other. Though the other has malabsorption according to the Organic
Acids.
Is there anyone on this list that is familiar with the Organic Acids
that I could call? Jenny, I have your number somewhere I just have to
find it. Thanks so much. Michelle

can guide you on this. Some labs give more info than others. You can
also call the lab for guidance on interpreting the results and
hopefully information on which meds and natural remedies are
effective/resistant to that strain.

worst. He can't force you to feed your child something he's allergic
to, with or without a doctor's note. A parent's observed food
reactions SHOULD be proof enough to avoid the food. That is
sufficient for our allergist to diagnose my son's food allergies.
Under about age 5, the gold standard for diagnosing food allergies is
the introduction of a food and observation of the response, and a
parent's report should suffice. A food diary (to show the allergist
you've been a careful observer) is helpful here. Allergy tests are
often inaccurate - the younger the child the more inaccurate testing
will be. If this OT requires proof, hopefully the Elisa test will
suffice. But I would not give rice just because the OT says so. He is
not an allergist or even an MD (and most MDs) are clueless about
allergies. Even allergists are often ill-informed about food
allergies and childrens' food allergies. If necessary, get a note
from

therapist should force a child to eat something that makes him sick.
Simply tell him that your doctor recommends completely avoiding the
child's allergens (this includes rice flour, rice starch, rice bran,
rice oil, etc. in supplements too), period, and you will not over-
ride the doctor's instructions.

potential allergies. Allergic children should avoid all nuts and
seeds until at least age 5, and then introduce them cautiously and
only if the gut is healthy and the other allergies are not worsening.
This is a problem with the SCD - many of oiur allergic kids need to
do a nut-free, egg-free, dairy-free SCD - these foods are top-8
allergens that are very risky for our kids. You can do a pretty
nutritious and safe SCD without eggs, nuts, or milk.

fed organic beef, which we give him one day a week. We've also
started giving him salmon one meal a week, and he seems to be doing
okay (he tested positive to almost al the other fish, so this is a
risk and why we only give it to him occasionally). He also tolerates
ostrich and venison, but we avoid venison b/c of deer-wasting disease
and ostrich is just expensive. We hold those meats in reserve in case
he becomes allergic in the future to one of his staple meats. He also
tolerates beets, brussel sprouts, celery root and spinach. He has a
low allergy to squash/pumpkin, zucchini, broccoli, and asparagus, and
he eats one of these daily. He tolerates pure cranberry juice. He
tolerates safflower oil, sunflower oil, palm oil and has a mild
canola oil allergy, so we rotate these as well. He also tolerates
pure sea salt and stevia, and glycerine and peppermint flavoring in
his compounded meds. That's pretty much the li
