Description

This is the group for the Northwest Iowa Chapter of Friends of Iowa Midwives (FOIM). FOIM is a statewide grassroots organization dedicated to promoting access to midwifery and out-of-hospital birth in Iowa, protecting the rights of Iowa women to choose their place of birth and birth attendant, providing education about childbirth options, and creating supportive community for birthing women and families.

Our current legislative campaign aims to license Certified Professional Midwives in Iowa.
