This group was created as a forum where individuals using a floortime approach can share ideas and provide support for one another. Parents, caregivers, therapists, educators and related professionals who work with children using this model are invited to participate.

In order to maintain the integrity of the group, we ask that you refrain from introducing highly controversial topics such as the vaccine-autism connection, mercury-autism connection or the non-conventional medical treatment of autism and related disorders.

When these topics do come up, as they invariably do, we encourage you to take them off-list, either through personal e-mail correspondence or via a chat room discussion.

Although it is totally appropriate for members of this list to share recommendations for products, services or even specific therapists, using this list to sell your personal product is not. We ask you to refrain from solicitation.
