Well I recieved a call yesterday from my Drematologist and he told
me that one of the moles that they removed was Malanoma.. He told me
it was the first stage I think.. that the first stage is something
like 0-.78 i think... and that mine was .48.. He said that I need to
make a appt with the plastic surgeon to have them remove more skin
from around the area to make sure it was only contained in the mole
I guess.. He also told me that we couaght it so early that I have
nothing to worry about. I would just like some encouragement that
this is true that we caught this so early that this cancer I had in
this mole will be gone! This is sooooo much to take in I don't
understand any of it really.. I am not feeling to scared right now..
don't really wanna think about the what ifs... Thank you for any
advice...

Thank you for the link to a cancer treatment alternative. However, it is my
hope that you stick around and share more information about cancers and go more
into depth about actual testimonials. As a rule I do not allow people to post
who are "just in business". Please tell us more if you are serious about this
being able to help people treat their cancer.
Thanks, Angela ^i^

After a long wait, simplecure.com brought artemisin.org online
today. The same site responds to artemisinin.net artemisinin.org,
   artemisin.com, artemisin.net and artemisin.org as well.
HTTP://WWW.ARTEMISIN.ORG . Artemisin gained acclaim when two bio-
engineers at University of Washington announced preliminary findings
of their research into Artemisin's ability of selectively killing
cancer cells without harming normal cells.

Heidi,
Hi and welcome. I too have a history of burning and skin cancer. I have had
surgery twice for skin cancer, and mine came back.

Anyway, there is an alternative to surgery and for me, it has worked 100%. It
has a success rate of 99.9% and honestly, everyone I know that has tried it, it
has worked wonderfully. It's called Cansemal. The site that sells it is this:

http://health.centreforce.com/health/wendytest.html

It's called the Cansemal Black Salve

Let me know if you have any further questions.

A little background, yes? ;-) When I was 16 I got fried to a crisp
at the beach, my whole body was one huge blister and since then, I
NEVER sun-bathed again and always wore sunscreen. I am light-skinned
with blue eyes so I suppose I am more prone to bad things from a lot
of sunlight. Anyway, now, some 28 years later (ouch!) I have got this
skin cancer business. First I had one on the side of my nose close
which a dermatologist said was just an oil gland problem and removed
it, a year later it returned and now I am having it removed (it was
positive for basel cell) by a plastic surgeon since it is on my face
and being the vain person that I am, want as little scarring as
possible. He said it should look good even though I will have
stitches, he is doing something called a Y or V reconstruction with
skin. Bleh, I am bringing a plastic bag with holes for eyes to the
surgery and I will come home as the partially un-known comic. Surgery
is April 2nd, just in time for the Easter Bunny.

Then last week I went back to my dermatologist (poor man having me
for a patient) and was supposed to have what he thought was a basel
cell removed from my arm. When I told him it used to look exactly
like the small beauty mark below it he decided to biopsy it first. I
whined of course and said just take it off and he said no because I
told him that it used to look like the one below but it no longer
looks that now does it. Smart aleck, I told him oh come be a little
more condescending please. Just joking, sorta ;-) I said is it
Melanoma and he said now, now let's just wait until the biopsy comes
back. I replied with a "Yes Dad". I do like my dermatologist as he is
very thorough about stuff and sends the biopsies to the best place in
town. So now I am waiting to hear on that.

So that is my story, I guess when it is all over with these 2 I will
have my whole body checked out for any other little things that
shouldn't be there.

I am trying to be cheerful about my face, it ain't easy since I
always prided myself in taking care of myself and doing pretty good
for 44..sigh. I am not really that vain, I do have to work at
it..LOL! I guess surgery is the best thing. I don't know of any other
treatments that would do the job any better.

I love to garden and won't stop, just keep pouring on the number 50
sunscreen and hats and uv clothing and do it early or late. I still
love the sun and warmth, not the suns fault I was an idiot when I was
a teen. ;-)

Okay, I have blabbed on enough abotu myself,

It does seem far fetched, you're right. But, then again, I sit here and think
what about the people who ate mold and cured their infection (penicillin)

Or deathly allergic to bees...and then injecting that bee serum into your system
so that you become immune.

Cottage cheese and flax oil for cancer??

This man from my email list, just told me this is for real and that
he's cured his cancer (x 7 years) by this. I asked for some emails
of people who have tried this. I want to know success and failure
   stories.

It actually wouldn't suprise me that God would make something so

use to zap my skin cancers and it works everytime.

I have had a guy advertizing that very thing on this group and I removed it as
spam. I would be extremely careful. These kinds of salesmen are not concerned
about you, they are out to pad their own pockets. It is up to you, but I would
think long and hard about it first.

this group has "personal experience" in senior life settlement. I
have been researching the Internet about it. It seems OK to me but I
figured, before I commit, I need to talk to someone with personal
   experience in senior life settlement.

There is a company here in Idaho, Progressive-Life.com, who buys
different kinds of life insurance policies. I am thinking about
selling my life insurance policy to them to pay for medical expenses
and to leave something to my family (just in case). I don't want to
do mortgage our house 'cause I don't want to leave my love ones with
bills in the event I pass away. They are offering more than the
accelerated benefits my insurance carrier is offering me. Personally,
and based on what I have seen so far, I think senior life settlement
is good for me BUT I need a second opinion from someone who really
had an experience selling their life insurance policy.

Any input, comments, and/or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
   Thank you in advance.

I would be VERY CAREFUL - these sort of things generally sound and look good but
you have to read an understand the entire detail of the paperwork - if you do,
you will probably find it is not what the salesman says!!!!!!!!!

An alternative, which may be considerably easier to understand, is speaking with
a bank and retaining the policies but borrowing using the policies as security.
Have you spoken with you bank yet?

in any event, get the paperwork and deal with a lawyer - someone you know and
trust who is not in a position to receive any benefit from the deal proposed.

good luck

Ian

   Ian,
Have you discussed the possibilty of the new therapies that are out for
melanoma in the later stages? I recently read an article about a 10 yr survivor
who had stage 3. I am on my way out the door right now, but I will try to
remember to look for it tomorrow. If anyone else knows what I am talking about
and knows where to find it, please post it. Thanks. Ian, I am praying for you.

Hi,
I called the urologist office this morning concerning my reports on my
CTScans and further blood work. The nurse told me she'd have "the doctor himself
call me back"
The doctor called about a hour later and had already faxed my reports to the
referring doctor BUT he was waiting for some blood work yet to come in. As of
today he knew that I have "growing lesions on my liver and kidneys" and wants to
do a MRI and a Cystoscope [sp] next to check out the interior of my Bladder. I
am to see him and the referring doctor next week and as soon as they have
everything "set up and scheduled" they will let me know. I asked him why I'm
"so sore always" and he said that's why he wants to do a cytoscope and a MRI as
without the iodine solution they just didn't get good clear pictures. He then
hung up with "keep pushing fluids and I'll call you when we're all done setting
this up"
We then left to go see "The Passion Of The Christ" and upon returning home
I had a message on my answering machine to please call him when I got in. Tried
to call the office and left a message when no one answered and tried calling his
home number but got no answer there except a series of beeps. So guess I'll be
waiting till Monday to be able to contact him!!

Ronda,
Does this mean you are in remission right now? I am glad to hear that you are
off of meds. It sounds like good news. I hope that you are keeping an eye on
it though.

Jaran, im Ronda How are you doing? Have you gone to the dr yet? I
let what i thought was an ulcer on my tongue for a few years, and one
day it started draining a bitter taste in my mouth and i went to the
dentist to have my teeth cleaned and told the dentist about the
bitterness that i had experienced and he immeditely sent me to see a
oral surgeon he did biopsy and got the results back showing that i
had squamous cell carcinoma. i was 36 at the time thats been almost
2years this july. I had surgery, and was on accutane for a while .
so far so good. i no longer take the meds. Please dont wait too
long before you go to the dr. ok. Try getting in touch with the
american cancer society. They may be able to help. Tell them your
situation. About the insurance. Please dont wait. I had a slice
taken off my tongue and 5 lymph nodes taken out of my neck. Let me
know what happens. I will be praying for you. Ronda Lovett

I've heard some black salves are not as good as others. Do a search
on Cansemal and all of the testimonials. I saw it on ebay for
$20.00. I would get the best and also then have the doctor do a
biopsy to make sure it's gone. You don't want to delay.

these cancers are not child's play - if the doctors suggest surgery he should
seriously consider their opinions

but it is his choice as to whether he wishes to live

Is he aware that he may be making a choice to die early?

many of us with severe cancers are fighting with everything we have for that
priceless asset - 'life'

in any event use the time wisely

Love, peace and healing

Thank-you Aimee. Yes it is good to have John back. Welcome back Reverend John.
What is your update on your particular skin cancer, brother John? I don't think
we have spoken in about a year now. Anyway, I hope you all get a chance to meet
Shelly, the group's oncology nurse, and a personal friend of mine. Hugs and
prayers to all.
Your friend, Angela ^i^

I just had to jump on here and say hello to John. I was wondering
about you the other day since we haven't heard anything in a long
   time. How are you doing?

   hugs,
   Aimee

P.S. - Hello to Angela and everyone else on here too. Even though I
don't post often, I am still praying for all of you.
