Ian =))) That is wonderful news!! Thank you for sharing the gift of yourself
your encouragement and the support of this group this past year has been
tremendous. In some of my darkest times I thank you for sharing your light. Its
been a year almost since finding out that I had basal cell skin cancer. That
initally started months of not sleeping or eating and the terror of
disfigurement through this though my faith has increased and I grew to realize
what you spoke about the gift of life always finate and too short is so true.
Today my life is better in ways that having faith and the gift of the skin
cancer has inevidently altered more than I dreamed. I have been able to realze
the gift of those precious lives around me while we still have much to share and
hopefully to give as it is allowed. Thank you and may God bless you!

Then there are those who have shared their hearts with me over their and my
traumas - some are her and well today, some have passed on.

In many ways I am so lucky - including the cancer awakening me to the gift,
always finite and too short, of life itself - and what I can maybe make of
it

All around I hear of friends with similar battles - not one or two but many
- each battle hugely profound

Recently I heard of a child - this time little Chloe - and my hopes and
maybe prayers are for her as well as myself and other friends who have had
lives

And then I also hear of those who have survived extra-ordinarily - and I am
reminded of the miracles within our bodies.
